In these pieces of art I followed a photographic procedure: they consist of several layers which are interwoven in a previously made composition. The areas shine through each other, and thereby create a transparant effect.

Our surrounding world is a synthesis of all kinds of lifeforms on different levels, which are indissolubly related to one another. In these constellations words or sentences form a certain relation. The area of synesthesis: for instance we receive a soundsignal when seeing colours, or conversely: we perceive sound as an impression of colour.

ORDINARY LANDSCAPES
Metamorphosis consists of 12 paintings and represents a transformation. It is a synthesis of different perspectives: mathematical, vision of life, musicality and there’s symbolism in it. Meeting, Symbiosis and Parting. Exposed in a circle the everlasting lifecycle is visible. The size of all paintings is 122 x 160 cm. Painted in acrylic colours. Total project.

In these paintings with sensual character the spectator gets consequently a different perception of the geography of the body. Painted in acrylic on oil/acrylic paper on wood.

After rediscovering the photographic possibilities I made some realistic paintings in the year 2004, which are titled Haarhuid (= Hairskin) In the eighties details and blow-ups of the human body caught and held my attention for a while. In these paintings with sensual character the spectator gets consequently a different perception of the geography of the body. Painted in acrylic on oil/acrylic paper on wood.
